We woke up to find that an old friend, whom we thought we left behind in Atlanta, had decided to join us on the trip. Our old friend Hangover. We weren't thrilled with his company.

We went for lunch at the Peking House, another old haunt of Moxie's -- and allthrough she hadn't been there in 5 years the resteraunt owners all remembered her and gave Stalla and Moxie their meals for free!!

We then drove from Abilene to Carlsbad, New Mexico -- through the stinking desert. Highlights of this drive were stropping the car to watch a potential scrapple between two bulls, and driving topless for a stretch on an uninhabited stretch of road (when cars would pass we'd simply remove our cowboy hats and place them over our breasts, then put the hats back on in one uniform motion when the cars were gone). After finaly reaching Carlsbad, we stayed in a hotel with a hot tup and got some much needed water-jet loving.
